Kruger Inc. A Kruger Inc. subsidiary

A Major Player

Kruger Wines and Spirits (KWS) specializes in the marketing, import and production of alcoholic beverages.  The Company is based in Boucherville, Québec, and has establishments across Canada.  Maison des Futailles and Mondia Alliance, its two marketing agencies, offer an impressive portfolio of more than 250 products.

Brief History

Kruger Wines and Spirits was created in September 2006, when Kruger Inc. acquired Maison des Futailles, L.P.  It owes its strengths to the extensive expertise developed since 1922 by its Montréal bottling plant, which was established by the Commission des liqueurs du Québec, the predecessor of the Société des alcools du Québec.

Today, KWS distributes approximately 20% of all wines marketed in Québec and continues to expand into other provinces, the United States and elsewhere.

Products and Markets

With a portfolio of more than 250 products bottled in the country of origin or in Canada that is represented by a highly competent sales team, KWS has a strong presence in several North American markets.
Its products are distributed through food networks (grocery and convenience stores), licensed establishments, and L.C.B.O. (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) and S.A.Q. outlets.

Kruger Wines and Spirits is very well established in Québec and is now the third-largest supplier of the S.A.Q., a state-owned corporation responsible for the trade of alcoholic beverages.
